Fibonacci’s Riddle

Alan’s Waking Nightmare

Fibonacci’s Riddle

A whimsically eerie twist on a beloved aesthetic, Fibonacci’s Riddle was a commissioned children’s book project retelling the story of Alan Wake II—but through the lens of childhood nostalgia. Think Calvin & Hobbes meets psychological horror.

I was provided with the final manuscript and given full creative freedom to interpret the story visually. Inspired by the expressive watercolor charm of Bill Watterson, I blended hand-drawn warmth with surreal digital artifacts, visual distortion, and glitch effects. The result is a gentle unraveling of comfort, drawing readers in with familiar visuals—only to quietly unsettle them as reality begins to fray at the edges.

The completed illustrations were printed into a physical book and prominently featured in the video linked below. This project was an absolute joy to work on—a rare opportunity to merge heartfelt nostalgia with eerie narrative twists, and a perfect playground for experimenting with visual storytelling.

The illustrations and book were both featured in this video here (My portion can be found at 4:55:30. Yes. Four hours, Fifty Five minutes, and thirty seconds in):

Eros and Psyche

Limited Edition Enamel Pin

Eros and Psyche - Limited Edition Enamel Pin

This limited edition enamel pin—based on my original illustration Eros and Psyche—was a passion project that allowed me to merge storytelling with product design. Only 100 were produced.

From concept to fulfillment, I oversaw every stage of the project: I began by researching and networking to connect with reliable manufacturers capable of handling specialty details like pin-on-pin layering, stained glass elements, and precise white ink overlays. After selecting the right factory and confirming cost estimates, I organized a successful pre-order campaign to fund the initial production deposit through community support.

Once in production, I created simplified drafts of the artwork optimized for the pin-making process and worked directly with the factory through several rounds of detailed revisions to ensure the final product met my visual and quality standards.

After receiving the finished pins, I individually numbered each one by hand, designed and printed custom backing cards, packaged them in protective sleeves, and carefully shipped them out to buyers.

This pin wasn’t just a product—it was a hands-on, multi-stage creative project that combined design, logistics, and community engagement. I loved the challenge, and I’m proud of how it all came together.

Flyover Tours

Animated detailed 3D Flyover tours for Apple Maps using a proprietary tool, highlighting cityscapes built from drone-captured assets refined by our in-house team. For these two cities, I handled the entire animation process myself, creating an engaging, smooth visual experience that showcased the 3D environments in an immersive way.
